The Polarization of the United States under Donald Trump has done one thing, it has brought all of us back to the drawing board, back to the founding fathers, back to the framers of the constitution, back to the interpretations of what the framers meant regarding the separation of powers, what it means to have checks and balances, and why we are meant to be a democracy.
Donald Trump's dictatorial aspirations are not hidden from the world, he literally worships the ground that dictators such as Kim Jong Un, Vladimir Putin, and Mohammed Bin Salman, walk on, at the same time he also toes the line on which Bibi Netanyahu and Recip Tayip Erdogan walk in hope for absolute (above the law) power.

Donald Trump is well known for one thing and one thing alone that we can all agree on, and that is Donald Trump.
Donald Trump is all about the end he could be less bothered about the means of how we got there and when you are about the end that helps you accumulate personal power then there only one definition for it Dictatorship.
At the very core of the American Presidency lies the full responsibility to protect our democracy but in America's case it is not so, The title itself has added to Donald Trump's over-inflated ego and superiority complex. In actual fact it has given him the God-Complex.
With the recent evangelicals comparison of Donald Trump to the son of Jesus and the Messiah has aggrandized Trump's already over-inflated ego and now he doesn't only consider himself the messiah but he considers himself as America's God.
We were supposed to be a beacon of Human Rights around the world, now we have an investigation started on us by the United Nations all because Donald Trump doesn't care about the means only the end and if it accumulates more power for Donald Trump.
By shutting down the business of government in order to get his way to building a wall along the border with Mexico. The President of the United States is treating the government as a bargaining chip. He is asserting power by any means possible. whatever the means may be the end is designed for the President to accumulate more power and that is Dictatorship.
A president who claims he has an absolute right to declare a national emergency and spend government funds that Congress has explicitly refused to appropriate for the ends he seeks,
while lying on prime-time national television address over manufacturing "undeniable crisis" at the southern U.S. border, which was completely spurious, in order to keep his campaign promise by using whatever means available to him to preserve and build his base of power,
that epitomizes Dictatorship.
The real international threat to America is not coming from the southern border. It is coming from a foreign government intent on undermining our democracy by propagating lies, turning Americans against each other, and electing a puppet president, which in our case that is starting to ring true.
Another thing with Donald Trump is his ebullient obsession of dismantling anything good that was done by his predecessor President Barack Obama. If I dare say this, Never in the history of the United states we have had a more vindictive and vengeful president who will not hesitate to retaliate again his own citizens let alone foreigners. Let's be clear, under Donald Trump our healthcare system is in shambles, food stamps have been taken away from the less fortunate, pre-existing conditions are hanging in balance, homelessness is at an all time high and our vets are being treated with disdain and those are just few things, there is a big laundry list of things that Donald Trump has done quietly in order to solidify his power.
Now let us look at the tell tale signs why we have a Dictator in the white house
Systematic efforts to intimidate the media.
Assertions Of An Alternate Reality Via The Press & Propaganda
Silencing & Discrediting All Opposition
Politicizing the civil service, military, National Guard, or the domestic security agencies.
Disabling Public Accountability
Using state power to reward corporate backers and punish opponents.
Stacking the Supreme Court.
Manufacturing Crises To Use Emergency Powers
Abolishing Or Restructuring Checks & Balances To Power
Fear-mongering.
Demonizing the opposition.
Assertions Of An Alternate Reality Via The Press & Propaganda
Accumulate power by manipulating the hearts and minds of your citizens.
Rejecting or showing weak commitment to democratic rules.
Denying the legitimacy of political opponents.
Encouraging or tolerating violence.
A readiness to stifle or limit civil liberties of opponents, including media.
In order to bypass any checks and balances if a President can appoint an acting cabinet just so he can hire and fire them as he pleases without an vetting process or transparency in order to siphon from a loophole, this can only be termed as a Dictatorship.
President Donald Trump, has a huge problem which he can not shake himself of, and that is lying he has repeatedly lied about the results of votes and subsequently established a commission to investigate bogus claims of fraudulent voting; attacked judges who have ruled against him with the goal of stirring up the public against them; encouraged followers to believe that his opponent in the 2016 election should be imprisoned; and condemned as "enemies of the people" journalists who report unfavorably about him, in an effort to fuel public resentment against them.
Many people argue that it's the Americans who made their bed, now they must lay in it, when Americans decided to elect a president, they elected a democratic president nobody went out there with the aim of voting for a dictator.
It's crystal clear that Democracy is about means. Dictatorship is about ends.
Trump uses any means available to achieve his own ends and that makes him a dictator!
